Mobile Messenger as a Future Marketing Channel

Welcome back everyone! Today I would like to share with you about the prediction of how is the future of marketing. I’m sure everyone is very curious to know right? Let’s explore it together.
There’s no question that there will be a lot more technology involved in marketing in the next 10 to 20 years. The fundamentals of marketing itself won’t change, but today’s technology lets us do a lot more in terms of figuring out what individual customers really want, and what makes them happy. The increasing prevalence of analytics means we no longer have to rely on attitude surveys. Now, we can simply ask: What is the customer doing? What is he or she buying today? And on that basis, we can make some pretty good predictions of what they’re going to buy tomorrow, and what was driving them to make that purchase.
The data in the ongoing series of Digital reports that for We Are Social show that mobile messengers are growing much faster than more 'conventional' social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Current growth trends suggest that these 'chat apps' will become the dominant social systems by the end of 2017.
This changes actually may brought some threats to the marketers as mobile messenger is more private compared to other social medias such as twitter and instagram. The only way for brands to succeed in this new environment is to rethink what 'engagement' means; far too many marketers still think of engagement in terms of likes, views, or clicks, instead of seeing engagement in terms of emotions. Marketers need to treat engagement as the outcome of great marketing, and not as just another vanity metric that they can buy from media owners.
The good news is that we no longer need to rely content that has been specifically designed for, and posted on, social media to drive engagement. Instead, we can use every element of the marketing mix to inspire valuable organic conversation, whether that's through our brand communications, our products, our packaging, our customer service activities, or even our recruitment ads.

In my opinion, if these changes really happen in future, marketers need to be well prepared. They have to find ways on how to make use of this situation just like everyone make use of social medias as a marketing platform. In all say, I do think that there are a huge possible that this future trend also may be a big help for businessmen to market their products. What about you? How do you view the mobile messenger as a future marketing tool? Don’t forget to share your valuable thoughts with me. See you!

Retailing In Future

Assalamualaikum peeps! In my previous posts, I have wrote much on how businessmen do business and market their products in past and current. So, I think now is the right for me to write about the future. Aren’t you excited to explore the future with me? Let’s go guys!
Indeed, e-commerce’s share of the shopping pie is growing. From 2000 to 2015, e-commerce jumped from 2 percent to 10 percent of all US retail sales. In the luxury sector, e-commerce is the only channel currently growing double digits and is expected to climb from 7 percent to 20 percent of global luxury consumption by 2025, according to Bain & Company. But unlike music, films or food, fashion is a product many shoppers want to touch and try on before they buy. The physical fashion store isn’t going away — but it is changing, as retailers come under pressure to provide consumers with personalised, data-driven service and experiences not just products but across all platforms.

Looking at what is happening right now, experts suggested that  the pillar of the store of the future will be data. While people willingly turn over personal data to Facebook and Google, or share credit card details with e-commerce stores, developing enough trust for consumers to share their data in physical stores remains a challenge. Traditionally, consumers have been wary of sharing information with retailers because it’s often led to nothing but spam and irrelevant offers.

Privacy is a currency and consumers are wiling to spend that currency where they perceive relevant value. For example, if a shopper is logged in to her account with a retailer, when she enters the store, beacon technology can provide sales associates with her purchasing history and preferred brands, or send personalised discounts and promotions to her smartphone. Beacons can also track where shoppers move quickly and where they linger, enabling retailers to make informed decisions about store layout  and potentially turn this data into a revenue stream. B8TA, a tech store in Palo Alto, measures consumer interactions with products in real time and shares this data with brands for a fee.

It is amazing just to imagine right? I’m really looking forward to enjoy the future. Is there anybody else who are excited just like me? Don’t forget to leave your comments. Enjoy your bright day today! Assalamualaikum.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Marketing

For this time post, I decided to discuss with you guys about one of the latest marketing strategy which is Search Engine Optimization (SEO) marketing. SEO marketing is a methodology of strategies, techniques and tactics to increase the amount of visitors to a website by obtaining a high-ranking placement in the search results page of a search engine including Google, Yahoo and other search engine.

SEO marketing can bring many advantages to the businessmen. Here are some of them:
The Results Are Low Cost
-Organic listings are essentially free. When you are listed at the top, you don’t need to pay per click or allocate a budget for advertising, one of the main benefits of SEO is that it is the gift that keeps on giving. With a little bit of effort and some money for SEO costs, you can watch your website get consistent traffic. You don’t have to pay for every person who clicks on your ad. Unlike paid ads, your traffic will not drop to nothingwhen it stops. SEO gets rid of the need to have thousands of ads across the web.

v  Increase in Traffic
- With Analytics and reporting tools, you’ll see a clear cut increase in traffic. This is a definite way to maximize your business efforts. SEO will give you results quickly as soon as you start your SEO efforts, traffic will increase at a steady rate. Using tools to track traffic to your site you can clearly watch as more people visit your site and sales go through the roof.

v  Take Your Business to the Next Level
- SEO can bring it thousands upon thousands of visitors to your website a day. This may put your company in a position of needing to expand to a larger web server to accommodate the traffic and sales to your website. Your customers may recommend you a product or service that they were looking for when they visited your website. SEO is a really great investment for your company and could be what you need to take it to the next level.

v  The Results Are Permanent
- Unlike advertisements the affects of SEO are permanent. They don’t suddenly stop if you stop paying for them. Of course you will need a little upkeep to maintain that top 1st spot ranking, but if you can get that top spot chances are it will be quite difficult for it to get taken away.

In short, SEO may bring a huge impact to your business. So, every businessmen especially for those who are doing online business should grab this golden opportunity by make use of this modern technology. This is the end for this entry. See you next time!

Billboard As a Tool in Marketing

Hello everyone! How are you today? I hope you guys are still happy in your life. For today, I would like to write about another tool for businessmen to do marketing for their products. The new marketing strategy is billboard marketing. Feeling anxious to know about how billboard help businessmen market their product? Happy reading guys!

It is said that you see over 1000 ads per day, and yet remember only 7. These days, with the advent of digital advertising, that first number is probably higher. But if you drive a car daily, a large portion of the ads you see will be billboard ads. Billboard ads come in many different shapes and sizes, and occupy those huge boards either side of the motorway. You will also see them in city centers, and to be honest, wherever a billboard manufacturer can place them to earn money. For those who are still can’t really understand what is billboard the following facts are for you.

         Billboard Facts
v  The largest size of billboard available in any campaign is known as the "bulletin," but billboard sizes can vary greatly depending on location. However, the typical size of an advertising billboard is 14 feet high by 48 feet wide.

v  In the past, billboards were created using sections of paper posted together to form one image. Nowadays, digital printing on vinyl material allows the entire image to be printed on one sheet, and can be erected very quickly and easily.

v  The typical length of time for a billboard buy is 12 weeks. For this reason, it's important that billboards have content that is somewhat evergreen. Billboards are the ideal place for long-term messaging, but anything more reactive should go somewhere else.

v  There are regular billboards, and there are 3D billboards that really go above and beyond to attract the attention of the viewer.

v  Billboards are part of the OOH marketing mix, which stands for Out Of Home.

Now that you have get the idea of how a billboard look like, I would like to explain further on the usage of billboard as a marketing tool for businessmen. Actually, billboard advertising can be relatively inexpensive depending on the size and location. However, this expense must be weighed against the kind of message you want to get across. As a general rule of thumb, billboards are a very quick read, and therefore should not contain a lot of information. If your campaign is one of awareness and branding, billboard advertising is a great option. If you want to convey a lot of information about your product or service, billboards should be avoided. It is said that SIX WORDS is the ideal amount of copy on a billboard, and that can severely limit your ability to communicate with potential consumers.

Next, you also need to consider the content and tone of the billboard creative, as this may have some negative side effects. In the past, sexually provocative billboards have caused accidents on roads and motorways and for sure you do not want the negative publicity of car accidents being directly linked to your ad campaign.

As a conclusion, billboard is a very interesting and unique marketing strategy right? If I decided to open up a business in future, I will try my best to market my products using billboard. By using the eye-caching design and being place at the busy traffic light, for sure my billboard advertising will be successful in getting the attention of the new customers. Does anybody agree with me? Don’t hesitate to write your comments! Bye.

Social Media Marketing

Hey everybody! Don’t you all miss me? I’m so glad today to write my new entry for this blog. Previously, I have wrote about advertising as a marketing strategy to market products. So, today I would like to share another marketing strategy which is very popular in thes modern days. And that is social media marketing. I’m sure everyone is aware of this marketing strategy right?

There’s no denying that technology has changed the way that global citizens receive, interpret and react to information. With the proliferation of the internet at the turn of the twenty first century, and the rapid evolution of devices that allow quick and easy access to its millions of portals, consumers are finding new ways to interact with companies and with products. Given these new forms of buyer seller interactions, many professionals and individuals alike now believe that the information age, facilitated by evolving technologies, has redefined the role of marketing.

Nowadays, internet users are not just using content, they are creating and sharing with others, allowing for unprecedented transfers of information and knowledge. With the explosion of social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram and more, consumers can access direct feedback about products – both good and bad – from their connections. Today, a blog or video created by a dissatisfied customer can become viral in a matter of hours. Even more impactful than the action of the post is the reaction it elicits in those it encounters. A viral video can mount an army of criticism and online hate for a product, even a company.

By e-Marketer’s estimate, 35% of people are influenced by brands on social media. The reality of the matter is that unlike the past where marketers hurled messages to consumers, who gullibly accepted their pitches as fact, today, consumers are enlightened and astute to lies, a mile away. Consumers no longer believe in the words of the marketer, instead they believe in the words of their communities. For example, if consumer read about one of her friend is using a new beauty product while scrolling their social media, of couse this situation will encourage that particular customer to try the same product. To add the excitement, her friend is telling about the effectiveness of that beauty product in her social media. Indirectly, this can be a free marketing for the founder of that beauty product.

All in all, I do think that social media marketing is very helpful for them who are doing business. Other than it is very effective as everyone today love to spend their time for social medias, social media marketing also can help the businessmen to save cost as the social media is free for everyone to join.  So, I am highly recommends social media marketing to those who have plan to start your business. Good luck loves! Assalamualaikum.
