Hey
everybody! Don’t you all miss me? I’m so glad today to write my new entry for
this blog. Previously, I have wrote about advertising as a marketing strategy
to market products. So, today I would like to share another marketing strategy
which is very popular in thes modern days. And that is social media marketing.
I’m sure everyone is aware of this marketing strategy right?
There’s no denying that technology has changed the way that global citizens
receive, interpret and react to information. With the proliferation of the
internet at the turn of the twenty first century, and the rapid evolution of
devices that allow quick and easy access to its millions of portals, consumers
are finding new ways to interact with companies and with products. Given these
new forms of buyer seller interactions, many professionals and individuals
alike now believe that the information age, facilitated by evolving
technologies, has redefined the role of marketing.
Nowadays,
internet users are not just using content, they are creating and sharing with
others, allowing for unprecedented transfers of information and knowledge. With
the explosion of social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram and
more, consumers can access direct feedback about products – both good and bad –
from their connections. Today, a blog or video created by a dissatisfied
customer can become viral in a matter of hours. Even more impactful than the
action of the post is the reaction it elicits in those it encounters. A viral
video can mount an army of criticism and online hate for a product, even a
company.
By
e-Marketer’s estimate, 35% of people are influenced by brands on social media.
The reality of the matter is that unlike the past where marketers hurled
messages to consumers, who gullibly accepted their pitches as fact, today,
consumers are enlightened and astute to lies, a mile away. Consumers no longer
believe in the words of the marketer, instead they believe in the words of
their communities. For example, if consumer read about one of her friend is
using a new beauty product while scrolling their social media, of couse this
situation will encourage that particular customer to try the same product. To
add the excitement, her friend is telling about the effectiveness of that beauty
product in her social media. Indirectly, this can be a free marketing for the
founder of that beauty product.
All
in all, I do think that social media marketing is very helpful for them who are
doing business. Other than it is very effective as everyone today love to spend
their time for social medias, social media marketing also can help the
businessmen to save cost as the social media is free for everyone to
join. So, I am highly recommends social media marketing to those who have
plan to start your business. Good luck loves! Assalamualaikum.
Thanks for taking the time to discuss that, I feel strongly about this and so really like getting to know more on this kind of field. Do you mind updating your blog post with additional insight? It should be really useful for all of us. best smm panel
